Plum has an established, twenty-seven year reputation for quality women's fashions. Our nine locations are in the Lower Mainland, Victoria, Kelowna, and Calgary.

Over fifty percent of our product is exclusively designed in house, and the majority is manufactured in Vancouver. We interpret the latest trends to create clothing that is both stylish and flattering to a woman's figure. Plum does not target an age niche but has a more European approach to fashion – we feel that current styles are popular for all women, regardless of their age. At Plum, we also understand that customers come in various shapes, and have perfected the fit of our garments over the years.

Fashion is for everyone but style is individual. Our corporate culture is built on trying to find that unique style for every customer and Plum's collection is sure to suit any style.

1. Canadian made: About 50% of Plum merchandise is designed by our in house designer Claudia Agusti and produced right here in Vancouver by highly skilled seamstresses in the best factories.
2. We show you what is made in Canada: We put “designed and made in Canada” hangtags on garments to make it easy to see the products that we make in Canada.
3. Off shore competition and duties: At Plum we have always made every effort to produce as much as possible in Canada but it is increasingly difficult. Competition with low labour costs for off shore production coupled with Canadian duties on imported fabrics means that we are under continuous pressure to go off shore ourselves.
4. Local production means better quality: Plum staff watch every detail of the production to assure top quality garments that we are proud to offer to you. We exercise a great deal of control over the quality and workmanship of our own Canadian made products.
5. High employment standards: Plum staff are in the factories all the time. We assure our customers that the factories are meeting Canadian standards of employment. This is important to us and our customers.
6. Plum designs: There is increased competition by international chains on every major street in BC and Alberta, however, we at Plum have the advantage of being different.  Our Plum, Tobias and Simone designs are exclusive to Plum.
7. Unique designs and limited production quantities: Generally speaking, only 160 to 240 units of our clothing styles are produced.  We usually produce fewer than 1,000 units of our T-shirts.  These are distributed among our 9 stores. This makes the products that we sell very unique, unlike the massive production runs of the chain stores.

1. The majority of the other labels at Plum are Canadian based, most of them do their design work in Canada, and many of them also do their manufacturing in Canada. These lines include Kensie, Kersh, Dex, Point Zero, Lois, and Mavi.
2. Most of our accessories are also Canadian designs. 
3. We also carry Oxmo, a Danish label.
