You may be wearing something that Tenille Magnuson or Claudia Agusti designed, even though you've never heard of either of them.
That's because Agusti and Magnuson are both in-house designers, creating clothing lines under the labels of Vancouver-based retailers.

Claudia Agusti has no problem being the unknown designer behind the label -- in this case, the Vancouver chain's casual Plum line and its somewhat dressier Tobias collection.
"I love it that way," she says. "It allows me to focus on what I love to do, which is to design. It's not important for me to get the attention myself -- the product speaks for me, and having great response from customers is really all I need."
